SteelFlex India interlocked metal hoses are custom made for a range of specialized industrial applications available in a Galvanised and stainless-steel styles and various sizes. Majorly used as protective casing or armour, SteelFlex India's range include:- Square interlock hoses & Conduits, Double interlock hoses and Polygonal hoses. Manufactured by helically winding preformed metal strip over a sizing mandrel and folding together the adjacent edges forming the interlocked convolutions. Based on the client’s requirement a packing material (Copper, Rubber, Synthetic yarn or Asbestos) may be inserted into a preformed groove within the interlock for increasing pressure and for minimizing leakages.

The objective of Instrumentation Tubing is to provide protection to wires, cables, capillary and fibre optic while retaining the flexibility in system design.
Square Lock Flexible Conduit is produced from a continuous metal strip, and is held in position by locking one leg of one profile over the leg of the adjacent profile. It has excellent flexibility, is light weight and is typically used in applications where limited to moderate strength is required.

Type: Double Interlock
The SteelFlex India Pressure hose is designed to transfer fluid at high temperature and pressure. It is a fully interlocked hose; and is also known as double interlocked hose in common parlance. Quality packing is further also inserted while formation of hose which acts as a sealing gasket. Thus the special design allows for pressure tightness along with the moderate flexibility.
SteelFlex India pressure hose is fully leak-proof within the pressure limits and can transfer fluids in wide temperature range- 20°~250°C. Besides, its special formation allows it to hold the shape in place.
Typical applications include transfer of tar and bitumen in highway commissioning, oil refineries, barge and tank car unloading, chemical handling in fertilizer plants and similar industry. Besides Pressure Hose is a general-purpose hose widely used for suction, hot air blow and fume and dust collection.

Type: Polygonal hose
SteelFlex India Polygon hose is fully interlocked hose furnished without packing. Its most important feature is its polygon shape (typically 16 to 20 sides) instead of smooth construction. This helps it to maintain the dimensions closely.
It offers (limited) pressure tightness without the need of any packing. Thereby, its serviceable temperature is as high as 600 C. At the same time fully interlocked construction imparts great crush resistance and high tensile strength.

Application: Excellent in chemically corrosive environment / Protective casing for non metallic hoses / additional armour to corrugated hoses.
